Tint Question, Urgent

Yes, I used the search and no, I couldn't find an answer to my question, so here goes..

Im going to have my windows tinted tomorrow morning(Formula One, Pinnacle Series, Medium or Dark in the rear, maybe light in the front).

My question is, how do I deal with the front two windows and the new tint. Since the windows rolls down about a quarter of an inch when you open the door and rolls back up when the door is closed, wont this mess up the tint? How can this be fixed? Thank you!

First of all there's not much you can do about it except to leave your car at the tint dealer for about a week. Yes there is a possibility of the tint getting damaged but it's highly doubtful. Just don't roll it down and use your a/c. If you're really worried about it, then don't try drive the G' too often that week and let it bake in the sun.

Your detailer should know how to do it. I remember my detailer open the inside door panels and put the tint on the front two windows. He told me not to roll down the windows for a full week and let it dry. Just use the A/C for the time being.

My tint guy clamped the little black buttons in the dor jam to keep the window from sliding down that little bit and tined my windows without having to take the panels off.

I know a way around this. open both door after you get your tint let it auto roll. Then disconnect the battery. close the doors back and recoonect the battery. Now this tricks your door to think that it auto roll. leave it at this postion for i guess a few weeks, hoping it does not rain. when done just roll the window back all the way up and then open the door it should auto roll again. Hope this helps.

That's exactly what they did. Tint came out great! I got 50% on the front two side windows and 15% on the 3 rear's(2 side rears and back window). The car looks great. Mr. Tint in Escondido did a great job. I def. recommend them!

So Ive got my JDM clear corners and my tint...whats next? ha
