Ya when I swapped out my OEM 19" for the OEM 17" winter wheels I bought, i got all four of the 17"s in my car, but I could not fit all of the 19"s in the car, and my friend was there with a big silverado so we just threw them in that.

Went to Ikea a while back and saw a nice "long" cabinet/shelf thing I've been needing. Well, like an *** I bought the thing without even thinking of how to get it home. (shrug) Well, as I was paying for the thing, I realized the 5'6" shelf was a tad bit large for the car and Ikea wanted me to pay $50 plus wait four days for delivery. Well, I was having none of it. So I picked myself one of those rolling cart/pallets and started to roll the shelf out to my car. Felt pretty smug as I'd just saved myself $50, got the shelf I needed and wouldn't have to wait four days to get it. Should have seen the expression on my own face as I rolled closer to the car. The shelf box weighed in at about 70lbs. and the thing was pretty thick to boot.

I still crack up at myself for this one. (shrug)

Well, me being pretty practical and quick thinking (yeah right) I convinced myself that I could do it. Well, it was October here in Los Angeles and it was like 85 degrees out. So basically I gave myself a pretty good workout in the middle of a packed Ikea parking lot trying to get this huge box into my car. Remember I have a coupe. All the while, sweating like a pig being hunted by it's farmer and cursing like a 7th grade catholic school girl. Took me about an hour but I finally did it. Don't ask me how. I should have done a DYI on that one with pics. Needless to say, the passenger side was sporting a 3" drop while I limped back home. To, yep you guessed it, an hour trying to get it back out and about half that trying to get it up to my place. Yep, I feel pretty stupid everytime I look at the damned thing standing there. Oh well, it looks nice.
