hey everyone

Just introducing myself. Tony Abrom from Atlanta, GA. I've been reading the boards for a very long time and I am looking to purchase a G35 coupe cash here in a couple of months. Just a few quick questions. For those who have kids, I have a two year old son, how have your experiences been with the coupe? I am getting a truck with more than enough room, but I just want to know how a car seat works out in the coupe. I already know the valentine 1 is the best radar detector, but I was interested in having it hard wired into the car, has anyone done this? I have no experience installing anything in a car so I'm not sure if I could do it myself. The third thing is a good dealership, I've had problems with driving up to dealerships (I drive a corolla) lol And I'm 23, so naturally the sales people think I'm a kid just coming to the dealership just to daydream. I don't feel I should have to come in with a bank statement to prove I can buy a car. I'm looking for a good deal but also good service and I'd be willing to fly somewhere and drive the car back to Atlanta. Just as long as it isn't far west. Any ideas? and btw, I really enjoy the forum even if I wasn't going to get a G35. Thanks!

Re: hey everyone

Welcome to the forum Tonio. The back seat is nice, but too much hastle if you are going to drive your kid around often. The whole automated roll sometimes tests my patience. Besides having to wait for the seat to pull forward (automatically), the car is great. As far as dealers are concerned, I was in the same boat (I drive a corolla as well), but my dealer was very receptive of my age. They didn't care how old I was or if I could afford the car, based on my looks. The problem is my dealer is in NJ (Ray Catena), and it's a bit far from Atlanta .

G35 Coupe. Diamond Graphite, Graphite, Premium and wheel and Tire package. Zaino Baby.

NJ is cool, I think I'd enjoy the drive back to Atlanta.. I've never been up to that part of the country. I'll see about contacting the dealership there and see what I can work out. Thanks!

Hey tonio, welcome, too! Look, hit the search button and put in Atlanta. I could swear I read some good posts about some of the Atlanta dealers. If that fails, I think I've also read some good posts about North Carolina dealers. Hope you get the G coupe; I don't have kids so I can't comment on the car seat. But the ride is wonderful. Enjoy and keep asking questions re dealers or whatever. We'll all do our best to help out.
