The two vehicles shared the 2003 Motor Trend Car of the Year award and have helped Infiniti establish record sales this calendar year of 66,345 units through July - an increase of 36.7 percent over the same period a year ago.

Prices for the three 2004 G35 Sport Sedan are $27,950 for the G35 Sport Sedan with cloth interior and 5-speed automatic transmission (an increase of $150 over 2003); $30,100 for the G35 Sport Sedan Leather with 5-speed automatic transmission (an increase of $450); and $29,850 for the G35 Sport Sedan Leather 6MT with leather-appointed interior and close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission (an increase of $750).

"Both the G35 Sport Coupe and G35 Sport Sedan have received tremendous praise from the automotive media and consumers alike, which has quickly turned the G35 into Infiniti's best-selling model," said Mark Igo, vice president and general manager, Infiniti. "With the select enhancements for 2004 and modest or no pricing increases, we see the remarkable success of the G35 continuing throughout the model year."

D@mn it I knew I should have never violated my cardinal rule:
NO FIRST YEAR MODELS. THE SECOND YEAR IS ALMOST ALWAYS BETTER. I still love my baby G. I think I'm gonna go shine her now.

Re: OFFICIAL 2004 PRICING IS OUT!!!!!!!!
There really is something special about 1st model year. Sure there will be more bugs than normal...but, still all in all, 1st year production is just that, 1st year launch. My 6mt Coupe is a December 02 build, and heck, I don't have the armrest or SAT, but I have been fortunate at 3800 miles not to have any issues other than the window gease streak syndrome.
Just remember, we can always trade-in in the future(hopefully at a decent value) and get another coupe...who knows there may be a roadster convertible on the design table for all we know and mabey, just mabey a V-8....another 100 HP would make our cars a true animal!!!

The pleasure at having people stare at and ask about your car is worth the difference in value at trade-in. The 2nd year guys won't have nearly as many moments like that.

Re: OFFICIAL 2004 PRICING IS OUT!!!!!!!!
Great... I am actually off to pick up my 2003 coupe in a couple of hours. I guess I definitely should have waited. Oh well... not that big of a deal. I'm still shaking with anticipation!
Re: OFFICIAL 2004 PRICING IS OUT!!!!!!!!
A faster CD changer and tire monitor aren't going to make me wish I waited for 2004. Now if they bumped the horsepower or added a V8, I'd be pissed!!

Hey bx! Tell us how it goes. We all like to read stories about that first moment of picking up the car and driving it home. Give us some words, ok? Oh, and enjoy the ride!

Re: OFFICIAL 2004 PRICING IS OUT!!!!!!!!
I wonder though if the faster changer would be availabel for a retrofit to our cars. Tire Pressure Monitor system would be highly difficult (if not impossible), but the changer should (could) be easy. Hmm it would be nice if Infiniti offered a swap with a minimal charge for the new changer.
If not...won't make me love the G any less.

Re: OFFICIAL 2004 PRICING IS OUT!!!!!!!!
HAHA well... i was supposed to go pick up my car today. Actually I was supposed to go get it yesterday... but on my way to the bank the freakin traffic signals go off and the bank is all locked up by the time i get there... the whole damn city is shut down. Was pretty pissed about that, but what can you do. Today, Atlantic infiniti tells me they'll be open until 9, so I make the pretty long trip +$8 toll to pick up the car.... and they are FREAKIN CLOSED at 6:45.... I think the power in Long island went out again. I am SO PISSED... my car has been with them for a week now and every single time I am about to get it... something has to happen. I get home and my salesman didn't even leave me a msg or anything.
Anyway......... Hopefully tomorrow... I am really dying here. All I've been doing every day this week is look at pictures, read through forums, etc.

Re: OFFICIAL 2004 PRICING IS OUT!!!!!!!!
The only feature that I like is the standard heated seats. I would never pay for them since its usless in cali but if its standard that is good. Man a faster cd player sounds good.
Re: OFFICIAL 2004 PRICING IS OUT!!!!!!!!
i dunno bout u guys, but honestly, i wouldn't want to wait for the 2004..
i agree with JDMan, that attention us coupe drivers got during this 1st year was just awesome.. wouldn't trade that in for the world..
honestly, i'm satisfied with the cd player and regarding the tire pressure monitor, i heard it doesn't even work that well..
all in all, love my first year production coupe and i have never looked back
