I got it from the dealer. They'll probably have a confused look when you ask for it. Mine popped up the whole door assembly on the monitor, and I pointed out what I was looking for.

When I explained I was trying to foil would be thieves from rolling down my windows to steal my stuff, the dealer gave me the part for free.

The part is $15 from Infiniti-parts.com . Look under Collision/Door/Lock and hardware/Escutcheon . I ordered one today.

Tustin Infiniti quoted me $26 and change. Tustin Nissan wanted $106 for the Z Tube. The local dealerships around here are ridiculous with their parts pricing. I can get almost everything cheaper online from other Infiniti dealers even after shipping costs. Better to make a smaller profit per unit with more volume than a larger profit per unit with inadequate volume.

How come the Dark Blue one is cheaper than all the other's? I am hoping Dark Blue = Twilight Blue.

Welcome to the club. Didn't do anything to the lock. Just take off the old, and put on the new.

I just got mine, going to install later today. Looking at the replacement part, its a cover attached to a metal part. Do I remove/pry the plastic cover from the metal part before install?

Yeah, you should remove the plastic cover from the replacement piece and swap it out for the piece that has the hole if you don't plan on removing the tumbler.
