So i took my 3 day old 06 Coupe to the dealer with my check engine light and.

They are telling me that they have to order a part. "Some Valve" is what the service writer told me. How can we already have faulty parts on a car with only 210 miles?????????

Well, it's not "we". Right now it's just you. The seal between my tranny and driveshaft was no good the day I bought the car, but it's not a common problem. Isolated incidents happen. There is no such thing as a flawless line of automobiles. Even Hondas give problems once a decade.

thats not that bad my axles went bad after 2k miles and after 8k my tires were destroyed because my alignment was way off......and the thing was that they wanted me to pay 1600 for new tires plus the 85 for the alignment and said that it happens....i told them i didnt spend this much for a car i gotta get aligned every 8k miles or less and buy new tires every 5-6 months....and the parts for my rear took 8 and a half months to come in....they kept tellin me they were backordered!!!!

Haha, keep it to yourself, tho......your dealer probably looks in here occasionally.

LOL, good luck with repairs. It's unusual but not unheard of to have it in so soon.

Back in the day, 94, I purchased a new honda civic, not the most expensive car
but, as you know, known for quality. I got it home and the main seal was leaking. I was like WTF.
The dealership replaced it and I put 100K miles on that car without another problem.

When we got our 03' TL (which we've since gotten rid of), the steering rack wasn't even bolted in correctly. It made a loud pop whenever you turned the wheel while not in motion. That was my first honda vehicle, so I wasn't sure it it was normal. Car only had 7 miles on it or something like that. But I bought it from a dealer 130 miles away. I drove back the next weekend, and showed the service department. The service writer actually let out a, "Oh shhhhh" when he heard it.

They came back later, and told me they found that something like 5 of the 6 bolts on the steering rack were loose

They said I should've taken it to a local dealer, because if the 6th bolt loosened while I was on the freeway I would've crashed

look on the bright side... if it did happen and when you got out of the hospital that would be a multimillion dollar lawsuit right there... u would have been set for life if you werent maimed in the process
