I am a fan of the Mercedes/Audi/VW keys. They're a nice little hunk that has a substantial feel to them. Even if given a choice between our current key and the JDM one, I think I would just keep mine as is. The JDM one looks like it came off a car from the 80's. Boxy design with no style. My old car had a remote-in-key unit (lexus) and I do miss it. It was very nice, and stylish also.

There was no G20 in 98 ravish , year of production 91-96 (P10) and 99-02 (P11).And yes, my 99 G20t is the same exact key as the G35 except for the logo on the g20t key is gold while the G35 key logo is silver.

that is the current key for all lexus's

If anyone gets the keys dragon13 posted to work on our G, let me know. I really like those keys. I want them!

G35 Coupe. Diamond Graphite, Graphite, Premium and wheel and Tire package. Zaino Baby.

I was looking around for G parts and came accross what looked like a plastic cover for our key with the buttons that looked very similar to the buttons on our remotes. The cover would cover just the black plastic part making it a remote/key in one.

This was a couple of days ago and can't remember which site was it. I've been looking for the site to post it here but it's lost somewhere I can't find it!!!!


I'm not crazy it's out there somewhere!!!
I'll keep lookin' but thought I would post this so you guys could help me out

Bah, never mind. Even if that is it, that remote keyless entry is for all Infiniti vehicles EXCEPT for the G35, lol. =(

Yup MrElussive, you got it I'm pretty sure that's what I saw. But, where does it says is not for the G. Anyway, even if it was I aint dishing out $180 for a fancy key.

if we could get something like what the FX has that adds a keyless go system i would gladly dish out $300- $350 for it.

Yeah, I'm not about to spend $180 just for one remote, plus it isn't even for the G35. I just wish Infiniti was smarter about the G35 and wouldn't give us such a lame-*** key.

Got a pic of the nismo key?

I coud almost swear our stock keyless is the same as my dad's dodge caravan. If so, they probably just share the same low-cost supplier.
