I am a fan of the Mercedes/Audi/VW keys. They're a nice little hunk that has a substantial feel to them. Even if given a choice between our current key and the JDM one, I think I would just keep mine as is. The JDM one looks like it came off a car from the 80's. Boxy design with no style. My old car had a remote-in-key unit (lexus) and I do miss it. It was very nice, and stylish also.

There was no G20 in 98 ravish 
, year of production 91-96 (P10) and 99-02 (P11).And yes, my 99 G20t is the same exact key as the G35 except for the logo on the g20t key is gold while the G35 key logo is silver.

I was looking around for G parts and came accross what looked like a plastic cover for our key with the buttons that looked very similar to the buttons on our remotes. The cover would cover just the black plastic part making it a remote/key in one.
This was a couple of days ago and can't remember which site was it. I've been looking for the site to post it here but it's lost somewhere I can't find it!!!!
I'm not crazy it's out there somewhere!!!
I'll keep lookin' but thought I would post this so you guys could help me out

Yup MrElussive, you got it I'm pretty sure that's what I saw. But, where does it says is not for the G. Anyway, even if it was I aint dishing out $180 for a fancy key.
