I went to Frontier Infiniti in San Jose, CA today to help my friend shop for a new G35 sedan. I noticed on a black G35c a lip spoiler. The window stick said "aero package $1194" option on it. I paid $550 for my rear spoiler but I've never seen the lip spoiler on a factory coupe before. It looked nice, much better than the Stillen one. Anyone know where to get one of those?

 

When I ordered my coupe in May, the only other aero kit was some non-existant $2920 option that was supposed to replace the front bumper ect.
Even though, edmunds, nada, ect showed a 4PC areo kit for $1190 that included a front lip spoiler - my dealer knew nothing about it.

Recently, I've seen pictures of the front lip spoiler from new-owner postings. Since alot of those cars came from Grubbs infiniti near my home I decided to stop by this weekend and check it out in person. I ordered my G35C with splash guards and I like how the lip spoiler carries the line around the front of the car.
When I looked at the window sticker on the cars on the lot they showed $1190 for aero package.
I sent an email to my dealer and they will install the new aero kit on mine when it comes in.

I think the front lip looks good. How do you install it on an earlier coupe that doesn't have it? Can you buy it from the dealer and install it yourself? $1190 seems like much for just the lip, how much is it by itself?
BTW, it looks kind of like the Stillen front lip, but a little less agressive.

 

the OEM front lip is over $500... needless to say i won't be getting it, although it does look good.

On infiniti's website the "areo kit without spoiler" lists for $600 and includes both the front spoiler and front and rear splash guards.
