To the "Gz" that had there front windows tinted,
Does the window feature, when you open/close the door, affect the tint job?

If you are wondering if it scratches it, the answer is no. I haven't had one problem other than the fact that I can't see out at night very well. I just cruise with the fronts open.

I've had my car almost 2 months w/the tint and no problems at all.

Re: Tinting the front windows...
I had my windows done and the trick is having the shop use two installers. One to hold the lock on the door(body) , the other to apply the film

Re: Tinting the front windows...
What my installer did was push the inner lining of the window down after installation. He said he does this to all cars that have the auto up\down upon opening the door as the tint needs time to dry. He said if he didn't push it down, it MAY cause the tint to get stripped. However, I don't think it's a necessity; just a tint guy trying to do a good job (ie. how a business should work). Keep in mind I came back in 2 days (he told me to come back in 48 hours) and he popped the inner lining back up for me. Hope this helps....
