When I picked up my car a few weeks ago, the dealer put the front license plate frame on the bumper, even though I told them numerous times to leave it off. I knew it is installed using screws drilled right in to the plastic.

The state I am registering my car in does not require a front license plate.

Question now: Do I have the bumper repaired (the dealer will have it done with plugs and paint), or just deal with it and keep the frame on?

Right now I have 3 large holes and 1 pinhole in the bumper. 2 holes from the frame itself and another large hole and one small pinhole from the extremely long screws holding the temp tag.

I don't want it to look like crap, nor do I want the paint to show up a few years from now cracking and peeling. I still can't believe they could do that to the bumper.

For a black 240SX I used to have, I just painted the screws with the touch up paint, and installed them in the holes without the plate. You couldn't really notice it unless you looked real close.
