Not sure if this is posted anywhere, but I found this picture of what may be a future convertible G35. SWEET!

Yeah that was posted a while ago. Found out today though that thats a z4 interior. I would think that they should keep the G a 4 seater. Something tells me it would look a lot like the SC430. I've already had people confuse the two.

 

I also hope they make it a 4-seater. I wonder if this picture is the result of a Photoshop job.

Thanks for the original photo. They had me goin' there for awhile. I understand a convertible is in the works, however. Does anyone out there have any photos of what the 2004 sedan or coupe will look like? Or are they quite similar to the 03s?

 

If they do a G convertiable that is what it somewhat would look like (with a more Japanese looking interior). I don't think they would keep the back seat, that's where the roof motor would go.

I think they would keep the back seat and give up some trunk space for the top...they would need to to keep it unique from the z roadster...

 

This shows you how much the sloping roofline contributes to the overall good looks of the car. I think the photoshopped convertible is rather bland.

I really doubt a convertable is in the works. However, i would love a targa top. If they do a convertable, it would have to be a G45. Needs to be more luxurious and that means a price increase. It would then be in direct competition with a sc430.

yeah it is tuff to compeat in the convertable market. If they made one it would be a direct competitor to the BMW 330 concertible and that is one hell of a nice car.

 

The convertable must be a 4 seater because if it was a 2 seater it would take away sales from the Z roadster.

 

Who cares what sales it takes away. It all goes to Nissan anyway.
