Hey everybody need to get my windows tinted but would like some suggestions. I am yhinking about getting them mirror tint but kind of scared about how it would look does anybody have mirror tint???? if so would you post a pick?? oh yeah my G is black.

On a black G.... i do not recommend getting reflective tint... looks horrible.. the black G goes really well with limo pitch black tint.. but thats just my opinion..

Don't get mirror, please. My suggestion is as follows. Don't go too dark, if you have a black interior go with about 20% because it will look really dark on the interior and it is somewhat legal. If you have Willow go with 35% so it's nicely tinted and people can see you have willow.

Why would you care about anyone seeing what color interior you have? I'm with badboy, black looks great with limo. I went 15% all around.

^^^^ what trenta said... i've seen his 15% on black and it looks good.... the whole idea is so people CANT see in. I have 15% on my red and if anything its not dark enough.

trenta: make sure your pictures are under 100k in file size and in JPG format.

If you go with a Darker tint and already have a dark interior that just makes the "appearance" look more Limo. I think he is suggesting what alot of people try to do. Which is get a decent looking tint job that doesn't scream pull me over. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

Just wanted to chime in here. I have a black on black G. I have 20% on my front and 5% on my back windows. None of it is mirrored. I used 20% on the front ‘cause you can’t really see in, but it doesn’t scream ‘illegal tint’ like 5% all around does. (I really don’t want to have to peel it off the next time I get stopped, that’s happened to people I know with 5% all around.) It’s just a thought though.

mines got the mirror tint at 20% looks good on red not sure how good on black.

hmm.. the mirrored tint shown above seems to make the black area around the small back seat windows stand out.....

for comparison here is my 15% std on all glass.

hey thanks alot. my wife was saying not to get the mirror but i did not want to give her the chance to say "i told you so" so now i have it on good advice and have seen proof of course that is what i am going to tell her thanks again

Good point on the contrast between the black trim and the mirror tint. Imagine the contrast on a black car.
