+1. That's why you never catch me ******* any of the other colors. We all choose what we think looks best... ...or in some case, what we think will make us look more masculine.

Without thinking about it I have amassed 3 red cars:

68 GTO Convertible - LeMans Red
03 G35C - Laser red
96 Edward Bauer Exploder - Cinnamon red

Personally, I've never needed a "masculine" color to help define my masculinity. I choose the color that I think looks best on the car so that I'm happy with my choice. Clearly, that's not the same line of thinking that prompted some of you who, perhaps, needed the color to clarify your sexuality for others.

Am I the only one that notices how much BO and even DG owners diss IP as a "girly" color, while you rarely see IP owners ******* the owners of other colors? When you have to insult others so badly, it simply comes across as a very transparent technique to transfer your own insecurities. Does it really take something like that for you to feel better about the color choice you made? Why am I even asking? It's apparent that it is.

I hope it makes you feel like you're packing oranges instead of grapes, because it sure suggests otherwise to others.
GT-Ron, come on man, dont get so bent out of shape. Most of it was intended for fun. But honestly when I see a guy driving a white car around town be it any car I think he might have some feminine qualities thats all. It wasnt intended to diss other colors, its not bad after all to show other qualities. Really though dont get your blood pressure so high its not good for you. You get stupid comments like mine when some one asks such a generic question from the start. "what color is best?" who cares

Understood, benbo, but after seeing such comments repeated over and over around here (most of the time, seriously), it gets old, joke or not. I have a feeling you might have a similar reaction if you consistently had people insinuating that you're a *** because you drive DG coupe. No reason to dog on other owners like that. And like I said, us IP owners here this **** too much around here. The ironic thing is that it's only around here, among fellow G owners.

in all honesty, the coupe looks best in IP, but i'd never get it because, yes, it is a chick color.

DG looks sleek but everyone and their grandmother has it (85% of the coupes i see), so forget it.

LP (liquid platinum) is actually not very common at all here in LA (probably cuz everybody's busy getting DG), and would be my second choice after the BEST color there is....

always bet on BLACK, baby. it shines the brightest when polished up and looks hard when dirty. and chicks dig it cuz you can't get more masculine then black.

twilight blue, hands down.

I own an Ivory Pearl G35 sedan. Indeed it looks mighty fine with its pearlescent luster, but I feel that on a coupe it looks extremely geared for the street tuner like the top secret G35 in the ad that's flashing and blinding me while i'm making this post.

Same here. I figured it would look great in white w/ black trim. I got rid of the chrome grill and Infiniti emblems and, sure enough, it looks great in white w/ black trim.

All the colors are beautiful in there own way.........HOWEVER

The sun dance on its surface
A Reflection of not only a smile from an owner's face
A Reflection of the owner's soul
A war between love and hate
The ultimate beauty
Black

LOL^ Nice.

I guess the issue of location plays a factor as well. I was looking at the parking lot behind my office, which was filled with 63 cars/trucks/SUVs. Of those, I counted 27 white vehicles, which is over 1/3. That's a pretty good representation of the cars out here, but this is pretty much the desert, so it figures. White is likely seen differently here than it is in areas with a milder climate.

Came from a black car prior to the G. That was also a factor in choosing IP. NEVER again will I have a black car out here.
