My '06 A/T had some buzzing sounds, until I replaced the 19" wheels with 17" wheels and Goodyear GS-D3 tires. The softer sidewalls evidently absorb a lot of the road irregularities that the stiffer Bridgestones were transmitting to the car. The car may not be capable of handling to its ultimate potential with the tire change, but I didn't buy it to race anyway. I got out of a Z4 that was beating me to death with its Sport suspension and run-flat tires, so that I could have something sporty, but with a much improved ride. The Sport suspension on my G, along with the Goodyear tires, gave me just the ride and handling characteristics I wanted, without the annoying rattles. It appears as though the low profile tires and the sport suspension are contributing much to the rattles and other noises that plague many of the Gs out there.

I have 13k miles on my '05. I've taken it to the dealer 3 times for squeaks and rattles. 1st time they replaced the rearview mirror, since it would start to buzz anytime the road wasn't smooth. 2nd time was for the driver side dash vent which makes a low pitched rattle. 3rd time was for the squeaking center console. The whole console moves from side rubbing on the aluminum around the shifter. The dealer used felt and double sided tape to fix. It doesn't squeak anymore, but it is still loose. There are a few service bulletins on the rattles.
The passenger side seatbelt rubs on the seatback, so I just adjust the seat for whoever is sitting there. See, I knew there was a good reason for them to mount the seat controls where they did.
