i have an 05 with 3000 miles and 19's, i get some rattles on the drivers side, but i dont know if that is the car itself doing it, or the subs making it rattle, so not sure about it yet

I've got a few rattles/sqeeks, lol...

Center console around the shifter
The shifter itself at high RPM (about 6k+)
Card holder above driver
Very top near the back of the driver side window where it seals
Seat belt holder

I think that's everything, but despite all of those I still love the car. I always have the music loud and windows down whenever I can and just enjoy the car. It's going in to the dealer soon, so hopefully they can get rid of all of them. Oh, and I've got about 3700 miles.

engine knock

I have an 05 6mt with 6000 miles. I use only premium gas, i.e. 91 octane in California.
The engine give slight knock at up shift at low rpm, between 2000-2700. It may cause by the sudden increase in load to the engine, i.e lower rpm (becuz up shift) with the same load.

The dealer did a whole engine check and....(drum).... "everything is normal. All noise you heard were typical of a VQ 6mt".

Does anyone with 6mt has this knocking problem?

I don't expect a 35k car to knock like an old Ford.

If people hear rattles or not will be highly dependant on their location and the local road quality. Around NYC, the roads are terrible and my G has a few rattles now and then. When I took the car down to south florida over the summer, where the roads were as smooth as glass, there were no rattles whatsoever. Basically, if you live in an area with freeze/thaw cycles, the roads will suck and you'll hear rattles in the G35 and just about every other car with a reasonably firm suspension.

I have an 05 Sedan 6MT with 9500 miles. I recently noticed some serious detonation problems from 1500-6000 RPM in 1st through 4th. I live in Guam so it's always 80+ degrees and the highest octane is 91. Doesn't it seem odd that the ECU hasn't tripped a check engine light, or at least made some kind of attempt to pull timing back a bit?
