If you do your homework, the fastest stock mustang would have a hell of a time with a stock G35

Thats sad

Oh sooo wrong on that. The fastest stock mustang would have a hell of a fun time beating on the G. I love my G but nothing beats american muscle. PERIOD

The stock cobras would give a g35 a good run and the later supercharged cobras would just walk all over a g35.

When I get mine boosted she's going to be plain jane looking. Gotta love the
element of surprise.

As for the fugly body kits on the G. Different strokes for different folks....

I have to stick up for my '83'mustang. 351w stroker kit/ Nos & 3" exhaust = priceless. Got a 68, all stock and love it.

And of course..Love my G

i like this reply... if you do indeed have a 911, then you know exactly how much those body kits cost (including the wing). you could buy a used g35 sedan for the price of a 996 kit w/wing, painting, and mounting.

and some of those kits are waayyyy over the top. so it wouldn't change anything as far as the ugliness of kits. some porsche body kits are just plain hideous... but i also hate the veilside kit too, so that's my taste.

as far as body kits... some of them are necessary (i.e. front bumpers). what is the point of those two holes in the stock front fascia anyway? what purpose do they serve? ...to cut off the air flow to the radiator as best they can? what happens if somebody wants an intercooler? (yes, i realize that some kits offer dual intercoolers specifically for the g)

I do know how much they cost, but applying logic takes all the fun out of arguing

i like to keep mine real simple. just front factory lip, nothing else.

well, lowered with 19 3pc wheels. that's all. no mudflaps, no spoiler, no tint.
simple and clean.

If a picture is worth a 1000 words, then I think this says it all about the Mustang and their owners.

Stock G35 = cool
Bodykit on G35 = coool
Forced Induction on G35 w/ or w/o bodykit = COOOL
G35 with tons n tons of mods =

Stock Mustang = boooooring
Bodykit on Mustang = kinda cool
Forced Induction on a Mustang w/ or w/o bodykit = Crazy fast and cool too
Mustang with tons of mods =

Bottom Line: Buy what you want, mod it if you want, do it the way YOU like, and enjoy your car.

G35 TT > ANY Mustang ever.
