better be careful with some of those "rice" My friend has a civic hatch with some crazy mods, he's running mid 11's w/o spray. To top it off, he had his car painted hot pink, can you imagine.. "God damn it, I got beat by a pink civic..." :P

It's fun to do alittle stop light drag from time to time(0-65)...even if you know you will lose...sometimes you win those you expect to lose...now racing weaving in and out of traffic... I can't get with....

One time I hit a rabbit in my 240SX.

Another time I killed a squirrel.

I've picked on cars before that were obviously faster, just to witness their display of power. Even egged on a liter-bike before in my old Mustang. It was obvious what I was doing, but the guy on the bike humored me and we both had a huge laugh.

And thanks for the good post giddyup. I was in a crappy mood and that helped eleviate some of it.

I get the most challenges from suv's and trucks for some reason. I usually ignore them just like I ignore evo's. But I will *** w/ a s2k, rx-8, boxter, cuz those are usually driver's races. For some reason it's not as fun to "kill" other cars that you know you can beat, not to mention how much it suks to get beat by a sleeper car.

Tell that to the 16 year old ricer-punks in the Civics with a Jet wing on the trunk!

Ya I agree there. I normally don't push it too far beyond the speed limit and never in heavy traffic. Killing someone would not be cool.

lol...a Ferrari once reved at me for no reason. I was in front of him drivin back home from work, he pulled to the left lane to stay at my speed, revs it and guns it..i was just thinking at that moment...ferrari vs stock g35...how gay.
When I had my gsr civic though, people tried to race me more than ever. Alot of ricers and Mustangs. Best races I've ever had in it were a newer Camaro on Interstate 87 in upsate Ny which I got spanked even though I was doing like 140 with an anxious look on my face and with a Cobra which we were actually dead even at about 130 and then it just got dangerous and we stopped.
I always hated the ricers the most though. I guess you could've called me a ricer at that point but i always classified ricers as the ones who had the "Looks Fast" cars but only had 130 hp. My car was merely nothing but stock Newport green paint with Black 15'' Rota slip streams and a very noticeable drop in the front due to the motor that shouldnt have been in there

LLOLOLOL WE GOT TO THE SAME PLACE BUT I USED 75% LESS GAS THAN YOU ****TARD...the light turned right as he finished and he floored it away.

I guess he's right... But I got there 4x as fast... (true story, I didn't even know how to react to it.)

I am that guy who tries to get any fast car to go (as long as it is safe and only off the line). I love driving the hell out of it! I bought it to have fun!

i think alot of times, its just about fun. i know that many ppl will completey againstt street racing and i dont disregard these comments; however, if you buy a perfomace car, you will get challenged.

i hate the fact that folks on these boards look down on honda's, dsm's, and domestics. just cause the the base price isn't the same as a g does not mean a nicely tuned car will not ***smoke*** a g.

so ppl will rev, sometimes your in the mood, sometimes you are not, why bother flaming the other person for trying? it is, what it is...

Why do we flame? go to google and type in something like civic+forum or try probe+forum, and then read some of the "kill" stories.
They are mostly uninformed idiots who pull really immature dangerous things on the road and then brag how they blew past some car that they thought were racing them. I'm not saying that sort of thing doesn't happen here, but most of the stories I've read here don't involve pissing drivers off on purpose or flipping them off b/c you've won, which is some things I have read on other "lower" car forums.
