I was in new york on vacation a few days ago, I left the day before the black out(thank god...I was on the 16th floor). I stayed a few blocks away from Time Square...OMG There must have been 10 Billboards for the G35. Are they really trying to push the car that hard? I live on LA and it's nothing like that.

Life is to short to argue on the Internet!

04' 6MT Coupe (on order)

Re: New York

I haven't seen 10 billboards here in LA but I saw quite a lot. One for a White Coupe, A Red coupe and a few other colors, There was even one off the side of a Building on the 10fwy.....

Re: New York

They are all over the place in Chicago also, on the billboards along highways and on the sides of buildings downtown.

Re: New York

Yeah, but for all the bilboards I see in Manhattan I really don't see that many coupes driving around....

Re: New York

TOTALLY AGREE. I alwaya wonder why I don't see more more G35 coupes on a daily basis. I drive every day. I may see 1 maybe 2 a day. A couple of months ago I saw maybe 1 or 2 G35s every 2weeks. Is it cost what is it?

Re: New York

As I am waiting for my '04 I have been on the lookout on Long Island (in Stony Brook area) and I think I've only seen 1 recently (pearl).

Re: New York

I am talking about 10 billboards in a 3 or 4 block radius.

Re: New York

Infiniti's goal is to keep the car exclusive. They are only making 12,000 coupes a year no matter how much demand there is for them. According to an Infiniti rep that I spoke with, Infiniti's goal is to bring people into the showroom with exciting products. Once people are hooked on the Infiniti brand, the whole product line starts to sell.

So if someone comes in for a coupe, they may decide to walk out with a G35 sedan, M45, or FX if they cannot immediately get their hands on a coupe because of limited availability

The G35 coupe is an image car for Infiniti . . .

and its working

Re: New York

It looks like 2003 coupe production is going to end up more like 20,000. Still pretty small, but a lot more than we were hearing about earlier in the year.
