Lightning proof

Right now I am shaking while i write this. I was just on the 405 in Washington coming home. I was driving and all the sudden there was a huge bright flash and I got the wierdest feeling in the world. I blacked out for about 10 seconds and when I came back into it I was an exit down and my jaw was dropped. I kept driving having no idea what happened but couoldnt even move my head. It was freaky and I thought I was abducted by aliens or something. I know it sounds dumb but trust me it was scary.

I got home and got out of my car and just stared up for like 5 mintues. Then there was lightning and i went inside. Im pretty sure this all has something to do wiht the lighting, but its pretty intense.
Sorry for random post

i saw the top gear episode where they test a VW against lightning... Everything was turned out fine, even the car was ok afterwards... I think newer cars arent a problem when struck by lightning...

Minor sezirue? Minor Stroke?

Panic attack? Low Blood Sugar(Diabetic?)?

There are a lot of physical things that can happen to a person that would leave them with the symptoms that you just described and they can be very quick.

"Lightning proofing" used to be pretty popular in Europe. Everyone and their mother had this rubber strip hanging down from the back bumper all the way down to the ground. I used to think it looks cool. I see it here and there, mostly on vans for grounding reasons. Install a camera in your car, maybe next time you can have everything recorded... be safe.
