What is the small screw on brake disk?
What is the small screw on brake disk?
I went to put some after market rims on my coupe and for some reason the front rims just werent fitting flush. i had no problem with the back rims, so why was I on the front. The stock rims had no problem on the front or back. After further investigation there was a small 1 inch screw bolted to the brake disc in an odd place. Of course I unscrewed it and the new wheels fit perfectly, but does anyone know what that screw is for?
Re: What is the small screw on brake disk?
it is so you can not mount the stock rear rims in the front because of the tire size difference. it is sort of a reminder that you are not supposed to rotate the coupes tires.

yep - had the same problem when i put my 20" rims on. we thought about it for a while then figured it couldnt be doing too much, took it off and slapped my rims on - everythings been driving fine.
