what kind of HP and torque should you increase to with the headers and exhaust?

I had a 528 bmw with a super charger, and had headers put on it, I actually lost HP down low, and the car felt a little slower - but overall I gained HP and could feel it when I drove the car hard......is this the case with the G?

 

there was a dyno from borla both mods put out around 25hp and up.

 

Says $750 for just the exhaust....do you have to order both to get those prices?

if i already have the borla exhaust and i am thinking about getting the headers, does it make it that much louder? i mean would it be noticably louder? plus is it emissions legal in california?
