Re: DUDE! I found your car!!!

Looks like a Silvia. Personally I would not put "Neon" on a car but then again I prefer more "GO" than "Show". Even better when you can do both. But sometimes it does not pay to advertise with too much "Show", Joyriders seem to steer towards those cars.
I guess I just like the old saying "Walk softly but carry a big stick".

Merlin.

Merlin,
Absolutely! If he's going to dump 6K into his G, my recommendation would be like yours, skip the Neon and go with a supercharger or turbo or suspension components, etc. More "Go" than "Show"....

I'd say definitely use that money for a turbo kit or supercharger first and worry about that other stuff later. That way, some of the people who think they can beat ya will be in for a helluva surprise and you won't be hanging your head in shame.

Performance mods are always better IMO. Any other mods to me would seem like a waste of money, but again, to each his own.

ROFL!!!!! NICE PIC Ken!!!!!!! lets see you do that to your boxter hehehehehe
I dont think you were harsh at all to that dude that has 6K in his pocket.
My advice is to save it for another few months until spring time, by then, this car would have been out in Japan and that just means more custom parts at competitive prices.

nice pic though i really did LMAO

Re: Any Ideas?

This is the funniest thread I have ever read. This is the only reason I had some hesitancy about buying this car. I have never liked Japanese cars for this very reason. All these ***-slapped cars on the road with neon under the body, a park bench bondo'd on the back as a spoiler and some obnoxious sounding pipe on the back that makes them think they are "bonified" fast and furious street racers.
The picture was funny but you no its only a matter of time before you see something like that on the road. That will be a sad, sad day for me.

Re: Any Ideas?

Don't blame this on Japanese cars. There are many riced out focuses, neons, and even BMWs. This is not a Japanese car company thing.
