I agree, we weren't really trying to smash any performance records... Although I notice the difference on the track where it counts. The "intial" project concept was a little more along those lines, however the whole warranty issue and daily driver issue came up.

This segment is more about making an awesome car even better and improving on a winning design. The fact that all of this can be purchased over the counter and installed by your favorite Infiniti dealership is more the point of the exercise.

Sports Car Revolution has always been about purpose, performance and making a car better. They are really not into Bling unlike some other tuner shows. I like a little bit of style though, once the show was finished I ran out and for the windows tinted.

I will be adding a front chin skirt, side skirts and something on the rear valance... Not sure what I like right now though...

Nonsense especially regarding the injen. After doing my research, I got both the intake and the exhaust(injen). I have yet to lose to a another G35 or 350z (I have an 04' G356mt) and I absolutely destroy the"rev up" motors...My only other mod is slightly smaller diameter tires. I can't wait to see everyone at Englishtown this year.

There was one 350z that put up a fight and that 350z had injen ses just like me....you want to talk about performance loss...do a search on pop charger....you'll see pages of performance loss....

I've got a pop charger. Didn't really notice too much performance loss. I likes it. The sound is awesome. When my plenum spacer comes in this week it'll sound even better.

Hey Scott,

The plenum spacer, is that a good mod? I have heard mixed reviews on that and would like to learn more before I get it.

Also, I would like to install it myself and wondering how DIY friendly is it?

I guess I should search the archives for the answer or atleast start a new thread first...

uhh, I don't have the spacer. I have the Crawford cast plenum. I did however put it on myself and it wan't very hard at all. Didn't dyno the car after the plenum and before the SC but I think any plenum mod is a good thing as long as you have the other goodies to go with it.

It is not non-sense. There are many dynos out there that are showing loss in power with the long tube CAIs. Sorry to say but its true. LOL, get your car dynoed stock then after the mods you will see. Even take it to the track before and after. my350z.com is more into performance and this is a big deal over there. You wouldn't destory this rev model.
