G35's on Sports Car Revolution - March 1st 2006 @ 7:30pm est

Hey guys,

Just thought I would spread the word about an upcoming G35 Coupe & Sedan build series on Sports Car Revolution! Starting March 1st 2006 @ 7:30est on Speed Channel. The red coupe is mine! I build and maintain the websites for http://www.dreamcargarage.com and http://www.sportscarrevolution.com

Here is a link to the actual build page.... There will be more pictures coming up soon!
http://www.sportscarrevolution.com/images/g35/index.htm

It was a lot of fun and the G35 is really awesome now!!! I can't wait for the episodes to run! I think the series is spread out 4-5 episodes over 5 weeks!

Hope you enjoy the show!

Chris

i notice that they will be doing a CAI. havsn't it already been determined that cai's cause a detriment in performance on our engines?

here's just an example: http://www.my350z.com/forum/showthre...=injen+lost+hp

Het Chris, thanks for the heads up on the show, I will be watching for sure.
Your car looks good, I can't blame you for wearing that big proud grin in one of the pics on that site .
Good Stuff.

Nice! I guess you got the inside hookup to get your car on. Did you have to pay for the parts? I've got to run upstairs to set the DVR to record this.

Yeah I am really pumped to watch it on TV... I got to do some of the driving sequences that will more than likely air on the final 2 episodes... The car is a lot more fun now and to be honest I can't imagine driving it at stock.

As for the parts they were sponsored by the following vendors. Everyone really did a great job and was very happy to supply the parts.

NISSAN MOTORSPORTS:
Cold Air Intake
Short Shifter
Engine Grounding Kit
TC Klien suspension

STOPTECH:
Slotted Discs
Stainless Brakes

SATISFIED BRAKES:
Grandsport PADS

DISCOUNT TIRE:
G-Games by Rays
Michelin Pilot Sport Tires

BORLA
Full Stainless Exhaust

OAKVILLE INFINITI
Did all of the installs! Awesome dealership who loves doing this kind of work to customer cars! Very accomodating.

You can check out links here on the website. http://www.sportscarrevolution.com/index.htm

Let me know what you think... I also made a mistake it is this WEDNESDAY... MARCH 1st @ 7:30PM on Speed Channel! OOOOOOPS!

Each episode is 30 minutes...

If you miss it you can watch it again later in the week...

They air for 13 weeks, then they repeat.

Chris,

Who should I speak to at the Oakville Dealership about pricing out some upgrade installs - I live in T.O. but like the service there so far

Hey Jay,

Jamie Wilson is the main guy down there for parts and setting up the modifications. His number (800) 879-8814 or (905) 827-1177.

He was really nice to me and certainly knows his stuff!!! Between him and the 2 mechanics that worked on my car you are definetley in good hands with Oakville.

I also believe the owner and his son drive some turbo charged Infiniti's and Nissan's. How cool is that?

LOL

Chris
Make sure you refernece the SCR segments!

Yes the long tube CAIs like the Injen cause a loss in hp and cause driveability problems as well.

The Stillen CAI is the best one to get and the JWT next.
