What up peeps. Back here in SC after a two week vacation in Hawaii. I noticed that on Maui that there are no G's driving around there. If I had my car there I'd be in heaven. I like driving something that most people don't have, which is why I used to own a Prelude.

 

I live on maui... there are quite a few sedans and a few coupes... but very few that have any mods... I know of a wide-body top secret G w/ greddy TT kit, 05 BO coupe w/greddy TT kit, rims, suspension and other mods, a Serengeti sands coupe w/rims and suspesion, and my BO coupe w/ rims, suspension, 06 headlights, HKS exhaust and soon to be GRacer kit. other than that I havent seen/heard of other fixed up G's here.
no infiniti dealer on maui so having a g35 here is great

 

Yeah, I looked around for a dealer and figured the lack of one was the main reason. Oahu had plenty of Gs. I used to live on Oahu also. I lived in Salt Lake. BTW, the road to Hana was nuts. We went all the way around in a convertable. The roads around Haiku were nice man. Must be fun. I live in a state where the curviest road is the turn from the street into my driveway.

 

My uncle has my old sedan and my cousin has a new 06 coupe. Maybe you were just in the wrong places and the wrong times, thats all.

 

Heavy tourist traffic = all rentals and no G's

Been to the Islands 5 times in 2 years....really need to go back soon!

yeah, if we had an infiniti dealer here, there would definately be a lot more G's on the island. Im glad that there isnt tho, having a car that few others own is a great feeling

Prelude?! Every other asian guy here in So-Cal drives either a Prelude, Civic, or Integra.

 

Here in SC there aren't many asians therefore not many Preludes. All the Gs around here are owned by soccer moms on their mid-life crisis so I basically have the only modified G aside from a gold one that runs around here.

 

damn if someone were to start a dealership there i'll bet they would make a whole lot of money. since there is no dealership how do you get your warranty work done?

 

Probably have to go to a Nissan dealer.

 

The only Infiniti dealer in Hawaii is here on Oahu. There are about 10 G35 coupes to every 1 sedan here on Oahu I have one of the few visually modded cars here which is nice but there are a couple sleeper sedans as well that would put my car to shame.
