Re: Gas Type

Premium unleaded, mainly from Chevron. So with gas prices in CA on the rise, it is $$$ to fill the G. I drive my MR2 more now.

Re: Gas Type

Argggh! We Californians are getting RAPED! The highest Octane in the Bay Area is 91, and that blend will cost us a measly $2.40/gallon (as of today).

Re: Gas Type

Yeah I paid $2.29 yesterday. Both the G and the MR2 take Premium, so I end up spending over $50 to fill my cars. Prices for gas are expected to rise until Labor Day. Oh well, the things you do....

Re: Gas Type

It's anywhere from 2.35 to 2.79 per gallon in Los Angeles for 91 octane...their is one place that has 95 octane for 5.95 a gallon. Thats for self serve.

Life is to short to argue on the Internet!

Re: Gas Type

lucky for you guys...us california people get shafted by having only 91 octane. Always wondered why we get the cheap gas when states like montana and stuff(no offense to people who live there) get higher octanes...?confused?

Re: Gas Type

I just bought Shell 91 octane for $100.9 per liter here in Canada which works out to about $4.60 CDN Canadian per Imperial gallon or $3.25 US per Imp gal. Now that hurts.

Re: Gas Type

When I bought my coupe last Nov, my salesperson told me, "Don't even mess with the gas." He meant using lower octane. I've been doing Unocal 91 octane in mine. I WON"T even consider ARCO, although, I've always heard that Mobil premium is the best.

Re: Gas Type

Yeah, here in Philly, gas is on the rise.....early last week I dropped $1.75 for premium....3 days later, it shot up to $1.99...and in some places a little over $2.00. WTF is that!! Driving our rides is definitely a luxury.
