Damn! I can get 106octane racing fuel for about $6-7 a gallon. I guess there is a big premium for all of that sunshine

Yup! 93 octane from Mobile. 2+change DAMN!! Here in Miami the prices are about $1.75 a gallon and I thought they were being a'holes!!

Where can you buy 95 octane gas in LA? I know of one place that sells 100 off of the 101 in Agoura, but was looking for someplace with some 93 to try. Perhaps I'll try the 95 instead. Where is it? Does anybody know of anyplace that sells 93 in LA (preferably San Fernando / Conejo Valley area

I have heard of a few Gas Stations in Chicago that sell Racing fuel but the cost is almost 4.50 a gallon...ouch! Mobile Ultimate is about 2.05 and rising. Not sure what octane racing fuel is 135?

In CA (and some surrounding states) we only get 91 due to emissions. Something they put in the gas to make it burn cleaner reduces the octane rating a bit. I think it's the "MTBE" but I wouldn't swear to it
