According to Car and Driver (my favorite source), the 2003 6MT 0-60 was 5.5 seconds. With the higher redline, the 2005 6MT no longer requires a 2nd to 3rd gear shift to hit 60mph. That, along with the additional 18hp, would probably yield 5.4 second 0-60; however, I haven't seen test data from any magazines yet on 2005 or 2006 6MT's.

I had a 2004 6MT before my 2005 6MT, and the 05 definitely has more stretch feel through 1st and 2nd gear. Although I never measured 0-60 times, I think the 05 would be slightly faster. The weight increase was only 25 lbs.

In any case, it's around 5.5 seconds.

that's why I'm not worried, I may have an 05 but i weight only 140lbs so i guess with me in the car will be less or equal to another G who's driver is 170lbs.

^^^ i weigh 140 also. i don't know if that makes that much of a difference, when you have less torque. I wouldn't worry either way though.

Honestly I'm not worried about 0-60, most race end around 100 - 120 on the street. you might be ahead at first but at the end what matter is who's ahead at the end. If you have an 05+ 6MT don't worry, our car respond better to Mod and race over 100MHP you'll see that Higher HP/Rev will take over. Besides the weight we are also rolling with 19's so that didn't help either.

i had a leak in my tire, and i used the spare, the difference, was pretty noticeable in the lighter wheel. It was so easy to drive stick all of a sudden. The rpms never dropped. that's why i wouldn't get rid of the spare btw. comes in handy. the tools, sure.

Yeah, they end right in front of a tree or a light pole.
