Question about clear corner/clearance bulbs?

So i have PIAA Xtreme white bulbs in both my clear corners and my clearance strip.

I love how they look at night but i hate during the day how you can see the blue bulbs...seems so ricey to me.

Are there any other PIAA bulbs i can use that give out a white color light but also don't stick out like a sore thumb during the day?

You know what i'm saying?

Thanks

GQ, how do you get away with white lights on you side markers in NJ? Cops here are brutal and don't seem to let anything slide.

I was thinking of getting the clear corners with the PIAA Mirror Orange lights. Apparently you can't see the color during the day and it is still "legal."

On similar note do you or anyone else on here have any preference in the PIAA Plasma GT-X vs the PIAA super LED wedge lights for the clearance stip? Are both going to give off a bright white light and if so which is brighter?

Cops in my town are whoopty whoop. They are terrible pig bastards that are jealous cause they all drive 89 Ford pick-ups but ive yet to be ticketed or stopped just for my clear corners.

Usually they'll pull me over for some other B.S. but not that...not yet atleast.

Dip the tip (just the tip) of the bulb in silver paint.

the silver paint works fine. I used it on orange bulbs before, you cant see the orange during the day but still lights up orange at night. I used a brush to paint them.

I have blue bulbs in my side markers and clearence strips, but you don't see the blue bulbs until the lights are on at night. The bulbs are so small, are you sure we're talking about the same lights?

On a side note, where do you guys buy these bulbs? One just burnt out for me, and I don't like the LED ones I have in my clearence strips, they are too blue, so I wanna buy all 4 different ones that are more white and less bluish. Any cheap website?

Question Just the tip!

Just got the JDM clear corners...I have some light silver paint in the closet. So do I apply just a bit to the part of the bulb that shows?

Thanks,
B

I'll probably go get a can of spray paint so I get a light even coat. I think a brushed coat might go on too heavy...

Thanks

I'm just using the bulbs that came with the JDM clears.

Another question about the wedge bulbs in the clearance strips...I'm switching those to amber to match the side markers and turn signals. So will I need to hit those amber bulbs with the silver paint to prevent them from showing too?

Thanks.
