Heh heh....let us know how it works out. Where did you come up with such a great idea? What happens when ya go in for the 'warranty' repair will even be more interesting to hear about

I was coming up on 6700rpm in 3rd in MM last night at 95MPH so the answer is NO, unless you want to fvck something up.

ONly reason y i asked this is because for some strange reason i always think that the - is + and + is -. Because my uncle has a 03 m3 smg and he let me take it out for a spin sometimes and when i went back in the G i was on 3rd and wanted to shift to 4th but i downshifted to 2 but lucky i was only at 4k rpm while shifting

No chief it won't it has a safe mode so even if you hit by accident it won't mess up your tranny. It will down shift as soon as it hits a desirable speed. I down shifted instead of upshifting and it didn't do anything until I actually slowed down.

the computer won't let you do it. If it puts it in the redline, it won't downshift. It'll do it if it's close, but not if it's over.

Won't let you bro, not even by accident....safety is built into the system so that you won't grenade the tranny.
