Re: Sidemarkers: WHAT A PAIN IN THE BEHIND

Pretty weird that you made this post because I just recently installed my intake and it required me to remove my bumper. In the process I had to remove the corner lamp and I was amazed how easy it was to remove it. WTF That sucks that you spent your money and some moron stole your corners. I'm sorry to hear that. Those corners are kinda hard to come by since they only sell them online.

I was thinking of epoxy too.
Another idea that came to mind was drill through the prongs so some kind of long piece (screw, nail, nylon strap) can be used to lock the clear corners from the back side. You would need to get your hand behind the front bumper some how, past the wheel well.

If I do this, I'll be sure to post directions for you all.

Thanks for all the replies. Much appreciated. BTW, it was the clear ones that got stolen. I figure I'll keep the stock ones on for now until I see how this Nissan setup can be made more secured. Again thanks for the replies, I feel a bit more at ease...hope no one else goes through the same BS.

just took a closer look at the corners.... the epoxy thing looks like it would work, it is pretty open behind the assembly. Just would need to make sure that there would be enough room to pull the bulb out from behind in case it goes out.

Started to take the wheel well cover off to check... then realized how many screws and connectors there are holding that thing on. OMG... also noticed the tons of screws holding on that diffuser that needs to be pulled for oil change... guess Nissan REALLY didn't want that thing coming off.

Re: Sidemarkers: WHAT A PAIN IN THE BEHIND

I feel you.
I had a TL-S. Someone ripped off my TL-"S" emblem and scratched the trunklid while doing it..Had it for only a month...They suck!
What goes around comes around...Just park in well lit areas around lots of people! Not much we can do about stupid people there's too many of them out there who don't have a clue!

Re: Sidemarkers: WHAT A PAIN IN THE BEHIND

So, if I can figure out a way to complete my ongoing {ulitmate} alarm design for the G35 coupe, maybe I could work it out so that I could phase in a postive/negative lead to the sidemaker ...pin wheeling a metal retainer clip behind the pop out side of the lense. Hmmmm, now were having fun.....or a pop out razor blade behind the light....lmao....Oh gawd, now I'm all excited!!!!!
