Sidemarkers: WHAT A PAIN IN THE BEHIND

Well, I've lost all faith in humanity. Can someone please tell me why they don't make the sidemarkers screwed in rather then some lego POS. I just got mine stolen off my car, and when I think about it. It is so easy to do so. Nissan, if you're listening you better change your stupid design. Sorry had to vent. Anyone else have the problems with their's?

Sorry to hear that, this is why i'm kinda reluctant to spend money on some clear ones. If it's easy to steal, some cheap idiot will do it.

Re: Sidemarkers: WHAT A PAIN IN THE BEHIND

Sorry to hear that, I also have clear sides and are always very concern with how easy they come off. I have my 6 year old after market fog lights taken off my 4 runner worth probably $20-30 before I traded it in for the G. Believe me, I know how you feel. Well, try a curse on them, hopefully it will work, at least it will make you fell better.

Re: Sidemarkers: WHAT A PAIN IN THE BEHIND

yeah, that sucks dude, sorry.

Consider this...this POS thief will get caught eventually, maybe not today, or tommorow, but eventually.. when he does he'll and end up in county as someones lil' bitch, if he's lucky.

If he's unlucky, he'll pick the wrong car, someone will catch him and feed him a lead salad.

crime just don't pay.

Re: Sidemarkers: WHAT A PAIN IN THE BEHIND

I gotta echo everyone's sentiments here. Most of us, I'd say 95% of us perusing this forum are really consciencious "freaks" about our cars (why else would we be here?) and for the most part good human souls.

The motto "due unto others as you would onto yourself" rings true with most of us. That is, we are very careful around other's possessions for example being careful swinging our doors open as to not ding another person's car, being careful walking beside someone's car as to not scuff it with our keys, being careful in their own car when we are passengers, try not to scratch other people's stuff, that sorta thing. It's a shame that there are a lot of people who are just oblivious to this fact.

I think the guy who said do the curse thing is spot dead on. Curse the hell out of that **** who took your stuff and don't look back.

Ya man I know how you feel. Even though I had nothing stolen out of the G some POS hater smashed my windshield. It cost me $1200 to replace. I felt like killing the mother fu**er who did it.

Re: Sidemarkers: WHAT A PAIN IN THE BEHIND

sorry to hear about your corners man. Just a warning for all you guys with clear corners out there for your G (including myself). An import car part shop employee friend told me that the word is out our clear corners come off very easily and people are stealing them to somehow put them on their civics and integras as extra mods just like the maxima HIDs someone posted on this thread. They are doing that because even the new porsches have their corner lites at the same place as the G also. I am not saying all civic and integra owners are bad in any way but there are always bad apples in every bunch, I guess.

I think I might start carrying a fanny pack and take the corner lites with me where ever I go, ha ha. It's just sad that you can't trust everyone these days! Maybe we should start smashing all cars that have them on if they are not G35s as a counter measure. Or someone should come up with a device to give those thieves a good electric jolt if they try to steal them from our G's. I would be the first in line to get that mod for sure.

I wonder if it would be possible to epoxy them in place and still get access to remove the bulb part from the rear... will have to look at it.
