Maybe that web site was a little harsh, but you can't tell me you don't at least chuckle when you see a honda with one of those big ridiculous wings on the back. It's like, "are you cleared for takeoff?."
lol honestly when i was 16... my first car was a civic, it was rice I admit... I thought it was cool.. with a big wing and loud *** exhaust but kids would always burn me and make me sad
I did learn from my mistakes and afterwards I have never bought a FWD car besides a Maxima which I used as a daily driver for school because I had little money for about a year until I traded it in for an Evo! Then I totaled by Evo which brings me to a beautiful car like the G35.. so many sexy curves.. but I like this car as a show car not a race car which is better

Harsh, but funny. The only is that he said in the beginning he hates all non-american cars. Which I disagree with. Most american cars are crappy and dont last. Nothing personal - there are three american made cars in my driveway.

By his definition, an owner of a fast honda is NOT a ricer. Since we spent $30+ on our cars, the only way we can become ricers is if we spent more than that on looks, and none on performance.
On the other hand, if you get a civic for 3K and then put a bodykit on it for 4K, you are a ricer. However, if you add a few bolt ons for 1.5K, you are no longer a ricer, no matter how big your wing is.
I like his definition. It doesn't penalize people who enjoy a japenese-esqu boy racer look. Instead, it penalizes people that value form over function. That spend more on appearance than on the value of their car (including the value added through performance modifications).
