it is at a dealership in southern california. my friends and i get good serice because we talk to the service manager all the time and we all bought our cars at that dealership

Anywho, it will still make noise without there being any sunglasses in there. Some will rattle more than others depending on how good the springs are on it. Try opening the sunglass holder and and drive. See if you still hear the rattles. I don't hear it even when it is close but only when there is a pair in there do I hear it. Just something I figured out.
