Damn you! Service Dept!

Lately my 2004 G35 Coupe (38K mile) has been changing

I am now experiencing the dreaded Road Noise and and break squeaking

So i call service dept and i tell him about it.. he tells.

The g35 is a noisy car.. if you wanted a quiet car .. the g35 wasnt for you!
WTF???!!! so i have to deal with the road noise.?? its a freak $35K car, road noise shouldnt even be an issue

Next I tell him about the squeaky brakes when stopping

He goes to tell me.. that G35s used a performance breakpad and they wear fast and tend to be noisy as well.

I chose the g35 so i can have a sporty (luxury) vechicle .. If I wanted "said" problems.. i could have got a 350Z.

And what the hell is rattling in my car!!! everyday.. I get a different rattle...
Infiniti should address these problems with a recall!!!!

Find a stetch of highway where you can safely take your car up to around 80 MPH and then stand on the brakes until you get down to around 20. Repeat this manuver two more times. In many cases this will take care of your squeaky braakes by removing rotor deposits.

road noise unfortunately is normal... if you have 19's then it's more prominent..... change to 18's or turn up your stereo system.... that should take care of the road noise......

Check out different brands of tires. Do a search. You'll find some tires are built to comfort driving.

That's a LOT of miles if you have the original tires. You should definitely check the treads.

Poor service.....

Are those the tires that came with your G? If so you
need new rubber. The road noise you hear may be
the steel belts coming in contact with the surface Kidding aside, maybe you need
to go to another dealership. Don't put up with some
service writers b/s, most don't know $hit about your
car anyway! Good Luck!!!!

It's normal for low profile, high performance tires with lots of miles on them to become noisy. How many miles do you have on your tires?

Working for an Acura dealership I can tell you that what they told you is complete B.S.
You should call a customer service phone # and tell them what you were told, give names if you can. Luxury dealerships are VERY heavily graded on Surveys/customer service. Make the call I'll bet somebody will be kissing your a$$ soon.

Break squeak is not normal. You only supposed to hear squeaking when it's time to replace the pads soon, so see if you have enough meat on the pads before you disregard the squeak. I understand the squeaking is kind of commmon with the brembos, but I still check and make sure I have some pad left. Better safe than sorry later.
And the car shouldn't rattle either, I have a coupe and the only thing that rattles is my rear view mirror. Something is not tight, because whenever I grab it, it stops rattling.
Road noise I put up with cause we do have wide and low profile tires, but you don't hear that much road noise in a beemer, I tell you that. For the price, I'm happy with the G.
