How many miles/km did your OEM tires last?
How many miles or km did your OEM 19" RE050A tires last?
I know that the tire wear depends on how one drives the car but....I have been told by a tire shop that I have only about 20% left and I have only driven 16,000miles (or 26,000km) on them. I also don't drive so aggressively, just normal (no burnouts nor aggressive launching etc).
Looking up spec on our RE050A, it has 140-A-A.
Do you guys think its normal?? 'cause, I did not think that I will be replacing these high performance tires every 14 months when I bought this car

I think it's pretty rare to get more than about 20,000 miles from the 19" RE050As, and aggressive drivers often get considerably less. I've got a little over 14K miles on mine and I'm expecting to have to replace them by the time summer rolls around. I think I'm going to give the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s a try. Not only were they rated significantly higher than the Bridgestones in a recent Car and Driver comparo but they have a much higher treadwear rating (220 vs. 140) so they should last quite a bit longer. What's more, they weigh a couple of pounds a piece less than the RE050As which I anticipate will noticeably improve the G's already excellent handling. As far as I can tell, the only drawback of the Michelins over the Bridgestones is that they cost $200 more a set -- $1248 vs. $1044 based on Tire Rack's current prices.

15-20k miles is most commonly the life of the stock tires. Anything more or less depends on your commute and driving style.
Thanks for the input guys, I understood that my tire wear is not abnormal at 16K for these Re050A's, jsut hoped that they go longer... After Re050A, I am thinking of trying Falken FK-451, less costly and decent reviews.
24,000 miles so far. still has decent tread. I say about 20%. I flipped the front side to side though at 15k. rears have a little more tread than the front. I say i'm an aggressive driver from time to time. Auto x a couple times. 1/4 mile a couple times.
