DG owners and engine bay color?
Just a quick question and could find an answer. For the DG owners out there, does the color of the engine bay and under the hood come close to matching the exterior color? Mine doesn't does yours?

Mine is grey but it's not the same type of grey as the exterior. It's a flat grey without the sparkly element that the DG exterior paint has.

It's normal..... someone else brought this up a while ago.

Yeah they all have a flat color. It doesnt match the gloss on the outside.

The outside colour is much nicer, and has some tint in the clearcoat finish.

The underhood colour is just cheap.

Good question because I was wondering about that myself. I bought a used one and was worried about that too. The Carfax didn't say anything was wrong so it helped ease my mind but it still kinda bugged me.

DP is the same way but I think the color is way off under the hood.
