The biggest advantages, or disadvantages of a manual are the launch and the shift speed, depending on one's driving skills.

 

but other then that, the cars are pretty much even in performance except for the better ratios of the 6mt right

 

From what I've read, the 04 6MT would be faster at around 5.5 to 5.8 and the 05 5AT is at the low 6's. When I did my research on the car before buying it, these are some of the articles I had saved.
