damn that makes two G owners who got their wheels jacked today and i remember seeing some other member who got his aftermarket wheels stolen off his Z. crazy.

With the G im never afraid someone will steal the car because its almost impossible without the key. However, Im always paranoid about gettin my headlights and wheels stolen.

I think you and your buddies should do a stakeout of your block and ctach those losers

Agree. it's time for action. : Park something nice there and stake it out all night and see what (who) pops up.

Good luck with insurance, and cleaning out the garage.

if you get lucky, the thieves that stole your wheels will somehow get into a car crash with the thieves who stole from the other member's G35 and they all die....that would be nice.

What rims were on there? OEM 19's? 18's? Aftermarket?

Judging by the 6th picture, it looks like there were no wheel locks. Is that right?

No wheel locks which is my fault. next set of rims will probably have 2 sets and will finally clear out garage.

Cops will not go to the trouble of fingerprinting, for anything like this. No victim really, no physical harm to anyone...so their lazyasses won't do it.

Because you have an '05, there's a good chance they'll give you pretty close to dealer retail on those. For an older one like an '03 or '04, they'll most likely give you the value of an aftermarket replics or remanufacture OEM wheel, which is about 1/2 of the dealer retail for a new OEM part.

I wouldn't expect any OEM wheel to be such a high theft item, guess it depends on where you live. The dealers here in So. Cal put wheel locks on everything that I've seen, even the cheapo Hondas with wheel covers. Easy profit.

You should invest in a 2-way pager alarm with a tilt sensor AND a proximity sensor
