When you do put your car in the garage... do not leave the garage door opener in another car which is parked outside. A theif is likely to break into that car ...find the garage opener and viola... gone in 60 seconds.

And the install procedure:

Thanks for the link. I probably will have this sensor put in soon.
Another question about wheel lock. Will after market wheel lock throw out the wheel/tire balance?

I did a little research on this myself the other day. Supposedly it will not have a significant impact on the balance of your wheels... at least not enough to notice.

I'm planning on getting 2 sets of different locks myself and putting them on opposing lugs either way, so that may or may not help to partially balance out any potential misbalancing issues that could occur.

so just talked to the insurance co. They said to take it to any shop i'd like to and have them just send over the total price for everything. Now here's the thing, a shop can get me some aftermarket rims as long as it doesn't take that long to get them shipped over. I'm trying to figure out what rims to get? what do you guys think? Preferably 19's or 20's with black and polished lip. I kinda like the iforged aero's but wanted to see what you guys recommend for a rim that wouldn't take long to be ordered and delivered. Thanks guys

Damn!!!!! bastards..... why would you damage a "mona lisa" for the frame..

rims are nothing compared to the damage they cause to the car

Seriously F'd UP.

Because I HATE THIS THEIVING BS, let me ask you a question:

If there was a home surveilance system that was motion sensor triggered, night/low light vision capable, audio capable and could be attached to a BIG *** flood light.. ... do you think you'd buy it? (I'm not selling anything here-fyi btw)

Looking at dollars lost w/ ur Honda & G, plus potential future losses.. would you pay 1k?

Again- I'm not selling anything/ but I'm gonna build a system in July to do this for me. (I think it even lowers my home ins.) I'd be happy to share the BOM w/ anyone who wants it. I have F-ing theives.

Sorry again bro.

anyone know where i can get wheel locks for our OEM 19's? Although i kno wheel locks do not make the wheels steal-proof, it will still serve as an extra hurdle for those bastards...

Wow, I'm so sorry to hear. I sort of know the feeling of violation you must feel right now as I got parts stolen of my car before.

Dude what you do is invest in outdoor infered camera's with a digitial recorder and nail them if they try again. Also put some wheel locks on them things!
