Re: Borla vs. Stillen Cat Back Exhaust

My two cents...

My uncle's brother's sister's cousin said that &@*@!^ had real crappy customer service. So I'm spreadin' the word.

Ops! I forgot, I decided to not publicly badmouth any company or individual based on what someone else had to say. Especially someone I don't personally know.

Over the years I've personally encountered poor customer service from individual people at name brand companies, including some that are well spoken of on this forum.

I've recently encountered great and not so great customer service from several companies mentioned on this forum.

DaveO

My 2 cents.

This is a forum for spreading advice. When you know or suspect something - Share,

I was treated pretty badly by Stillen, when trying to order a catlog. Personal.

I have read about a half dozen negative posts about poor customer service from Stillen. Some were extreme.

Stillen has never defended itself or tried to correct any of these negative threads, even though they are a sponser at freshalloy, and some of those posts have been at freshalloy.

If your offended, I'm sorry, but I will still let people know about what I have heard from many people about Stillen. They can make their own decisions from there.

Let's just drop this now - OK??

lowrider,

I'm not "offended". I'm not mad or even annoyed.

You've stated your position. I've stated mine.

We'll just have agree to disagree and move on.

DaveO

P.S. I got a beer with my popcorn.

Actually, I believe the 52:48 weight distribution of the car refers to the engine placement on the front axle. Nearly half of the weight is in front of the axle and half is behind.

No - that refers to the total weight distribution of the car. If you put a lighter exhaust system on (I'm talking about the muffler weight here), the weight distribution will shift heaver to the front bias - minor - but a slight shift.

Guys - as for Stillen customer service, I have ordered from them 3 times and have had just excellent results.
