Hi ppl again

Hi people again..I'm making choices now. It's either a Lexus IS300 (when the 2005 one comes out) or a Infiniti G35 Coupe (2004 or 2005) I might get a car next year at the most. Which is better? I know the hp is a difference for sure because the IS has 215 hp and the G35 has 280 hp. Yes, I know....you might think I'm some spoiled little brat Asian kid.......I'm stuck now on which car I really want. I want a fast 2 door coupe for sure though (I know the insurance will be high since I'm in my early teens). Well this is what I have found so far......

Infiniti G35 Coupe
Base MSRP: $31,550
Options I want on the car:
>Bose Audio System
>DVD Infiniti Navigation System
>Perfomance Tire and Wheel Package
>Power Sunroof
>Premium Package
>Aero Kit w/ Spoiler 4-piece
>Body Side Molding
>Trunk Mat w/ Infiniti Logo
Total Price:$38,645

Lexus IS300
Base MSRP: $31,350 (based on 2004 model)
Options I want on the car:
>Leather/Alcantara Trim Interior
>Navigation System
>Power Tilt and Slide Moonroof w/Sunshade
>Rear Spoiler
>Heated Front Seats
>5-Spoke 17" Graphite Polished Alloy Wheels
>Limited Slip Differential
>Vehicle Skid Control
Total Price: $37,935 (based on 2004 model)

As of right now, they both sound good to me. I just have a hard time choosing now. What would you guys choose honestly??? I'm still leaning even more on the G35 a lot more...

Re: Hi ppl again

I test drove a IS300, that car sucks. Its slow, it looks like an old honda inside and it cant corner well. The only thing I liked were the brakes...but I dont know anybody who decided on a car because they liked the brakes.

Life is to short to argue on the Internet!

04' 6MT Coupe (on order)

Re: Hi ppl again

Sorry but this isn't even a question that needs to be asked. Well if it is this is the wrong outlet for you to get an answer. Obviously the G is the way you want to go. i dont know that many people that are wowed by a lex. Excluding the SC430 which is way too much loot.

Seriously Get the G, I dont see how your hung up on this one.

Re: Hi ppl again

Tell them that It'll make a great Christmas present and that all the kids at school are getting one! Then tell them that there is a 3 month wait because the car is so popular so you have to go down to the dealer today and place the order and take advantage of the 1.9% (financing which is running out soon).

Make sure you take whichever parent appreciates performance driving the most and make sure the salesman gets that parent in a coupe for a test drive!

That should do it - one test drive and I was hooked!!!!!

Re: Hi ppl again

lol

Hehe, thats a good idea! I know my mom will like how the car drives! I've been bugging her for awhile about the car. The only thing holding us back is to pay off the Honda Accord I honestly hate Honda a lot now..Not that my parents bought it and all, but how the transmission broke, then how the service was at the dealer (really horrible to me, I found them abnoxius and rude) and how many people have this car. Just one more year or less and hopefully I'll get the car of my dreams!

Re: Hi ppl again

I think there are some "spoiled" kids who've sort of paid for the lives they've had... Obviously, some have not, but some kids have had it "tough" in order for their families to get where they are. My first car was like 27k, but I'm also a car nut... my sister's was a Geo Prism. Doh!
