I'd like to swap my '04 6MT titanium center console out to black. Has anyone else changed this out one way or the other? Trying to find out if the black finisher will work with the Bose etc, and if there are any snags to be had. I already know the radio/ac finisher is pricey (~$540).

You could take it out and have it professionally painted?

 

I did think of that, but was hoping to hold onto the silver bits in case I trade in or sell eventually.
