getting a new clock from Infiniti soon

Well... I called my dealer and decided to go in for my clock since I have a couple other things I want them to look at...

Some of you who have the "older clock" with thinner hands than the new and supposed to be improved clock with thicker hands does it really make a difference to see at night? The problem I thought would be the LED for it since it's not that bright.

Also going back to have my whistling window fix.. I hope they replace the sealant this time..

And last I'm going in because my brake pedal is vibrating.. now normally this is because worn brake pads but I went in 3k miles ago telling them my brakes are worn down and I just bought the car.. they said I had 50% in the front and 80% in the back but long story anyhow..

Question

Yeah, please post a pic if you can.

Does anyone know if the newer clocks (05-06) would fit as a replacement for the 03's??

Probably not, but just curious if anyone has tried this..?

hey guys... work has been busy and it's hard to reply back to my threads after 8AM, I will definately post pics of the modified new clock infiniti offers for the problem.

I scheduled service on Monday and I will show you guys then.

Also on the window thing they will take care of it then and I'll let you know as well.. it does come from the drivers side and is pretty annoying inless I turn on music you can't hear it. They already re-adjusted the window and didn't do squat so let's hope they fix the 2nd time.

Yah.. it's supposed to look exactly like the one we have currently but with thicker hands.. It's FREE, covered under warranty... I guess they noticed the clock is invisible at night. I hope it does make it more visible, thanks for the feedback on the new clock however can't wait to see it myself.

Ohh and I will also tell about the vibrating brake pedal.. but I'm pretty sure the culprit is worn pads.

What year is yours because i have heard of problems with the brakes on 03-04's but never on 05's?

The few brake judders I've seen on a G were due to the rear rotors warped. When the rotors were removed there was no park brake material left. The customers drove with the park brake on & overheated the rotors.

o3 sedan here. I had the clock done under warranty. Yes the thicker hands make a big difference at night.

I was looking at the 05 clock. It's 10x better as the face is backlit! From a glance, it "looks" like it's the same shape. But it's hard to tell if it will work for the pre-05s as they moved the clock into the climate control housing.

Look at this thread. In the pictures, accordfreak posted pics of an I30 clock and the G clock. The G pic features the new thicker hands.
