06 looks better on a BMW or an AUDI but no on the couple.

Sport coupe=03-05 sport "sedan go for 06.

03-05. It makes the G35 a real G35.

06 makes it look like an altima or maxima.

i prefer the clean no spoiler look but if i had to choose, i'd get the 06 spoiler. it definitely looks hot on black.

Personally I never liked any of the coupe spoilers. I agree with somebody else in this thread that said that the spoiler looks like it wasn't a part of the original design but a "tack-on" later down the road. It's like Infiniti came up with the initial design (minus spoiler) and somebody in the US said "dude, you know you can't sell a sports car in America without a spoiler option, right?"

Also agree with another opinion in this thread that spoilers don't really accomplish much until you're going really really fast (like 120+). I have a couple of friends who are aerospace engineers, and they like to laugh at these civics with the giant wings. :-)

The oversized old spoiler looks rice. It's like driving around with a Type R or STi giant spoiler.. I mean if you're into the giant size spoiler good for you.

The car looks so much wider/fatter with all the other spoilers (INGS/Data/Impul/06/no spoiler).

The 05 spoiler looks a little too tacky now too.. Looks outdated being so big.

I took mine off and I was AMAZED at how big that thing was.. The size of the spoiler made the car look small AKLSDJALSKD

I want the 06 sooo badly now.

05 lets face it even though its an "Infiniti", it's still just Nissan. We have sport cars, not luxurious bentleys..

06 looks like a poor attempt to modify something just to do it.
05 provides 0.28 drag instead of 0.29 with the aero kit.

More pratical matter, mine came loaded and I think it looks absolutely naked without a spoiler, and the 06 just look like someone chopped the old one off a few inches.

i love the 05, and really dont feel the 06 (its actually a big reason why i bought an 05 G instead...). the 06 looks fine from the side, but if you look straight from the back, you feel somethign is missing. its too small.. just dont do it for me.

05 is more aggresive and sporty. it may seem a bit weird when it first came out cuz its so unique. but now it has grown on me and it sure looks 100X better than 06.
in fact, 05 spoiler is the best out of all the spoilers/wings i have seen on the G35.

The 06 may be more elegant but nothing matches the 05 in trunk lid closing comfort

The 05 is better if your shirt is wrinkled and need to do some last minute ironing.... LOL I personally like the 06 spoiler better, looks classy, elegant, and doesnt stick out as much as the 05.. The 05 I guess would look better if you are going for the tuner look.

Shiet I like them both, but the 05 more cuz I have 04 series. But then if u debating on getting one, then why waste $$$ on stock, get the after market on (M3 lip), I saw one out there look really nice. I want to change to that but too much $$$ unless someone wanna trade with me heheheh!

I passed on my '05 spoiler because I didn't like it and was already planning to go aftermarket. By '05, it already looked too dated to me. The clean look was growing on me, but a spoiler adds a certain look that goes well with the NISMO front.

The Data Systems R-Spec rear spoiler is my favorite. I love the visual rear extension it provides. I like the '06 more than the '05, in terms of an OEM spoiler, but only because it's a more subtle (maybe even more elegant) version of the DS.

As for effectiveness, most are too small to be really effective. I notice less dust on my trunk between the bare trunk and with the DS spoiler, but not all that much. As for the '05 spoiler aiding in that lower cd... ...the decrease is more from the underbody diffusers/airflow trays.
