05 Spoiler VS. 06 Spoiler (Which one looks better & more functionality?)
i just got my 06 coupe not too long ago, and i like hte 06 spoiler, but i'd also take the 05, honestly it just depends on what type of person you are and what look you like, there's no wrong decision here.
I didn't really like the iron board, wooden plank, "whatever you wanna call it" look of the old spoiler. That's why my first mod was an impul spoiler. Unfortunately I lost that in an accident (it wasn't insured), so I'll be getting the '06 spoiler.
I like the aggressiveness of the 05 spoiler, but the car already looks sporty without it. I just want a nice clean classy addition to the rear.

Like I've said before. The 2006+ spoiler looks like it was lifted from the 1984-1986 300ZX parts-bin. Just Google '1984 300 ZX turbo' and see for yourself. In terms of functionality, all of the coupe spoilers serve the identical degree of purpose. The only visible difference is that the outermost tips of the 2003-2005 spoiler have been removed for 2006. A good eye will notice that the overall profile of the 2006 is identical to that of the 03-05 had they been manufactured without their extended edges. Any other profile would diminish the effect of the whole 'zero-lift' principle that defines the coupes aerodynamics.
Hmmmm, neither of them fit the car very well. I have the 03 factory and while it looks kind of odd, the whale tail takes attention away from the huge boot. The new 06 spoiler looks like it's borrowed from the 350Z and makes the car looks more fat-arsed. I like the idea of incorporating the spoiler into the trunk design like Infiniti has done for the 07-08 G35s, though the shinny metallic spoiler is excessive for my taste.
