Hey everyone, I have a 2004 DG coupe and I got pulled over a couple months ago (by a cop on a bicycle...) and I went ahead and bought the tow hook attachment thing. But now I think it's time for the plate to come off again but I can't seem to find that little piece that I popped off to access the tow hook. Does anyone know where I could buy one? -Thanks

I was on Sunset Blvd. on the strip in Hollywood and it was Saturday night and there were hundreds of drunks just causing trouble so obviously the cops were out in full force. So I was at a red light and I see 5 cops on bicycles just cruising in between every lane looking at every car and trying to find something wrong with them (tints, front plates, lights off). I got pulled over along with 5 other people in the middle of traffic. It was pretty emabarassing to get pulled over by a cop on a bicycle... especially considering how fast our car is.

 

As opposed to running from him??

When the cop gets you when your stopped your stuck no matter what.. Its a little bit of bad luck you got the red light at the wrong time, but my guess is the cops timed it that way. Its a little crappy, but sometimes what cops do when they are "out to catch drunks" they pull over everyone for every little thing in the name of getting the drunks off the road; unfortunately they like to ticket you for anything they find whether your drunk or not, then when people complain they always say "we are doing this for public safety, we got 2 drunks off the road today...."

 

That's exactly what he said to me. Also, what I was saying before was that it's just ironic I think, that a g35 was pulled over by a bicylcle. If that makes sense...
