it's been noted by many other members that if turn off the vdc, to be careful. what do you expect from a 298 hp rwd car?

Of course you never spun out in the Prelude

It's FWD and almost impossible to swing the tail out like that. You could, however, if you choose, go plow a corn field with the understeer on those Preludes though. How do I know, I owned three of them.

The suspension is a good compromise to suit most drivers. -- not too harsh/hard, and not too soft.
For the more avid enthusiast, you will need something a bit stiffer. Wouldn't suit me tho.....I prefer it the way it is.
G/L with the mods.

You are dissapointed that a RWD with a lot of power spun because your FWD never did? Shift gears to 3rd when taking the corners if you dont want to spin... better, enable VDC.

I purposely went to an abandoned road to try and corner fast and see how much the car could handle before spinning... I too came to the G from a FWD car so I did this for my own safety.

i spun out easily, what so dumb about that, yes the FWD makes it harder to spin out, but the fact is my 18,000 dollar car takes turns better than my 38,000 dollar car. thats the bottom line

Just like G35_Coupe_6MT said, go to an abandoned lot, not many rocks or pebbles, or poles, or anything that could possibly "put a hit out" on the G, and get accustomed to learning what to do if you lose control in a turn. I took some time to do that, trust me, if I hadn't, I would have probably already been halfway inside the Dominos' Pizza on the main strip, tellin them I called in a order for two large pies with extra cheese, as I sit in the car and pretend like nothing happened!!!!!

LOL, well your right fwd cars are harder to spin out. stop complaining and learn how to drive a rwd car. i too came from a fwd and i would never spin out no matter what i did. i got my first rwd car like 4 years ago and spun out the first time i tried to push it hard but after i while i learned how it handles and now if i do slide, i can continue it around the corner. HA. its either you get better suspension/rubber and learn how to drive or go get a different car..make sure its fwd next time.

bad statement.....could be a driver issue. I usually never use VDC and she behaves well...knock wood.

I did a 180 in my Acura 3.2cl-s, FWD. Going around a long turn and it spun out and I slammed into a median, messed up my wheel really bad. On another note, last week I was making a left turn and went over a small amount of water and gave it too much gas and spun out and ended up on the median, luckily it was a small curb that the car easily went up on.
