very clean engine, but is it time to wash the K&N filter?

 

did you armor-all the engine bay??

if so, you'll be getting alot of dust pretty damn soon lol trust me, I KNOW from experience lol

 

oddly enough, that is a brand spanking new rc-2960 k&n filter. got the intake used and didn't feel like cleaning the filter, so i ordered a new one. i do have the original filter, with a slight kink in 3 vanes for $10.00 plus ship if anyone wants it. will post pics if desired.

 

anyone wanna sell a stainless or carbon z tube? looking to do that when i put in my mrev (waiting on replacement lower plennum...mine came cracked)

 

oh, and that is a 2000 yamaha r1/piped/jetted/k&n intake/clear led tail./graves shaved led markers. back end breaks loose on half throttle when tires are cold, and front end won't stay down after they warm up.
