Smile Stock '04 G35C (5AT) Dyno @ Advanced Motor Sports

First, many thanks and props to the staff at Advanced Motor Sports in Irvine, CA. Let there be no doubt that they are a 1st class outfit. The owner, Mike (G35 6MT owner), is very meticulous and fastidious about his work.

Second, Wasup! to the fellow G35 owners that attended the event.

My ’04 Infiniti G35 Coupe (5AT) has ~35K and is completely stock other than a Z-Tube. The Dyno was conducted on a DynoJet in third gear which yielded the best numbers.
Max HP=226.64 | Max TQ=216.27

A high resolution copy of the dyno sheet can be downloaded here.

A video of one of the Dyno runs can be found

Nice numbers and dyno vid. Now I know exactly what my 04 DG coupe has since I have almost the same exact car you have except the grounding wires. Just seems hard to beleive we have so much drivetrain loss w/the auto's.

Thanks for the compliments.

I plan on ordering Motordyne's 5/16" spacer and then I'll be done with the performance mods.

The stock exhaust sounds soooooo good at high speeds! Too bad I don't have a better recording of the dyno.

Are you getting it dynoed. If you do, please post it. I plan to only do the 5/16th spacer and thats if for performance mods. BTW, I would recommend the Grounding Gear as it made my AT shifts smoother.

It's good to hear from you guys again!

MEGA Props to Camry4LIFEyo0 for letting me use his camera.
The quality of the video is much better when I view the original .MOV file locally.

Motordyne Engineering just released a modified lower collector with modified Intake Runners which seems to work very well on the non-"REVUP" motor. I had a chance to beta test it awhile back but there was not enough time to get to a baseline and "MREV+" dyno on the same day.

I'll keep ya'll updated.
